KARACHI: The police and other Law enforcement agencies on Saturday arrested two suspected ‘facilitators’ involved in yesterday’s attack on the Chinese consulate in Karachi.
According to details, two suspects were arrested in a joint operation by law enforcement agencies from Karachi and Shahdadpur, media reported. However, the suspects are being interrogated at an unknown location and their identities have not been disclosed yet.
The security forces prevented an attack on the Chinese consulate after killing all three terrorists and seizing all of their explosives and weapons in Karachi’s Clifton block 4 area on Friday.
At least four people died including two policemen, ASI Ashraf Dawood and Constable Amir in the incident. One of the security guard got seriously injured in the attack who is being treated in the hospital.
The attackers have been identified as Razzaq, Azal Khan Mari and Raees Baloch who are members of banned terrorist organization Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
Moreover, the mastermind behind the attack BLA’s commander Aslam alias ‘Achchu’ who is being treated in India, sources reported.
